About Etrovvo
01Is Etrovvo only for people just starting out?
No. It works for both people just starting and those who already sell online and want to stop wasting time and money on multiple disconnected tools.
02How does migrating my current store work?
You import your products easily (Settings → Import). Depending on the plan, our team can also help with the process.
03Does The Brain really work on its own?
Yes. Once set up, it monitors your stock, suggests prices, recovers abandoned carts, and sends important alerts automatically.
04Do you offer support in Portuguese and Spanish?
Yes. Our support is handled by real people and is available in Portuguese and Spanish.
05Can I use my own store and sell on the marketplace at the same time?
Yes. You manage everything in one place: your own store and the Etrovvo marketplace.
06Do I need technical knowledge to use it?
No. If you know how to use Mercado Libre or Shopify, you’ll be able to use Etrovvo easily.
07Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no lock-in.
Getting started and going live
08I can't log in / I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use "Forgot my password" on the sign-in screen — the reset link arrives by email (check spam). Etrovvo doesn’t create your account or change your password for you; if the email doesn’t arrive, contact support.
09How do I add my ship-from address?
In Settings, type your postal code and let the address autofill; add number and complement, then save. It’s required: without it the store can’t go live and no label prints.
10Why is my store offline?
The store goes online automatically once the essentials are done: ship-from address, category chosen, and at least 1 active product. The dashboard checklist shows what’s missing. Note: being online is not the same as being able to charge — for customers to pay, your payment account must be connected and active.
11My store is live but nobody can pay. Why?
Your store checkout charges using the keys of your own Rebill account. Until it is connected and active in Settings → Payouts, there is no way for a customer to pay. Start that step early: Rebill sets the verification timing, and Etrovvo cannot speed it up.
12How do I choose my store category, and why is it required?
In Settings, pick from the accepted categories — it’s required before your store goes live and it helps customers find you. If your product type isn’t listed, it’s likely a restricted or prohibited category (see the acceptable-use policy).
13Right after signup it said "Create your store". Did I lose everything?
No. Just redo the create-store step — it’s recoverable and your data isn’t lost.
14Can I add people from my team?
For now there’s no invite-members screen inside Etrovvo — access is managed on the login provider. Need to add someone? Contact support and we’ll help.
Orders, shipping and returns
15How do I mark an order as shipped and generate the label?
Open the paid order and advance the status; once it’s "ready to ship" the shipping panel appears, where you generate the carrier label (you need a complete ship-from address) and get the tracking. Digital products have no shipping.
16Are cancel and refund the same thing?
No — they’re separate actions. Cancelling never moves money. A refund is separate and depends on the payment method; on Etrovvo it’s manual. Read the screen before you click.
17What’s the return policy? Who pays return shipping?
Cancellation is pre-shipment only. Returns: up to 7 days after delivery, with your approval. Made-to-order, customized or digital products have no cancellation or return. Return shipping is on the vendor.
18Can I record a sale made off-platform (phone/in-person)?
Yes. In Orders → New order you record the sale manually. Note: marking it "paid" only records the payment — it does not charge any card.
Getting paid, withdrawals and fees
19How do I receive the money from sales?
On your own store, the buyer pays straight into YOUR Rebill account — the money never passes through Etrovvo, so there is no payout to wait for. Applies to Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile — in the United States the rail is Stripe (see the section below). Step by step in the getting-paid guide (/getting-paid-guide).
20Why do I need my own account? Can’t Etrovvo receive it for me?
No — and that’s on purpose. Because the charge happens in your account, the money is yours from the first second and Etrovvo never holds your sale. That’s why the signup and the verification are yours too: the account is in your business name. Details at /docs/rebill-account.
21Who approves my account? How long does it take?
The business verification (KYB) is run by Rebill, by people. Etrovvo does not run KYC, has no access to your documents and takes no part in that decision — neither to approve it nor to speed it up. We don’t give a deadline because the timing is theirs and varies by country and business type; Rebill is who tells you when the review is done.
22What if Rebill declines my account?
The decision is Rebill’s and Etrovvo can neither reverse it nor answer for it. Ask them for the reason and what’s missing, fix the documents and request the re-review there. Meanwhile your store can get ready: products, theme, shipping and address don’t depend on the verification.
23When is the money available? Why is it on hold?
On your own store, the amount lands in your Rebill balance — crediting and availability follow Rebill’s rules, not Etrovvo’s. The Etrovvo marketplace is different: there Etrovvo charges the buyer and your share is released after the return window (14 days after delivery).
24How do I withdraw to my bank?
The withdrawal is done inside your Rebill account, on their rules (timing, limits and fees). Etrovvo doesn’t move that money or withdraw for you — verification, timing and withdrawal-fee questions go to Rebill.
25How much does Etrovvo charge per sale?
On paid plans, 0% on your own store. On the free plan (Latin America only), the 10% commission is recorded on each order in the dashboard. The fee is locked at the sale date — upgrading later doesn’t change past sales, only new ones. Rebill’s processing fees are separate and follow their contract with you.
26Does Etrovvo issue a tax invoice?
No. Etrovvo does not issue a tax invoice (nota fiscal) — that’s on you / your accountant, per your country’s rules. In the dashboard you can download a monthly payment receipt, which is a proof of payment but does not replace the tax invoice.
Selling in the United States
27Can I sell on Etrovvo from the United States?
Yes — on your own store, with a paid plan. There is no free plan in the US: a plan is required before your store can accept orders, and Etrovvo takes 0% of your sales (the subscription is its only charge). The Etrovvo marketplace does not operate in the US.
28How do I get paid in the US?
Through your own Stripe account, connected from the dashboard: the buyer pays on your store and the charge runs in YOUR Stripe account. Etrovvo never receives, holds or forwards that money, so there is no Etrovvo payout to wait for — Stripe sends your balance to your bank on its own payout schedule. Step by step in the US guide (/getting-paid-guide/us).
29What does Stripe ask when I connect? Do I need a Stripe login?
No Stripe login: in Wallet → Receiving you first say whether you are a person or a registered business (Stripe cannot change this later), then press "Connect receiving account" — Stripe’s form opens right there on the tab (Stripe may open a small window of its own to confirm your phone or e-mail). It asks for your identity, your tax ID (EIN or SSN) and the bank account for payouts. Balance, payouts, bank account and chargebacks then live inside your Etrovvo dashboard. If Stripe needs more later, the Receiving tab shows what is missing and you get an email — that check is Stripe’s; Etrovvo takes no part in it and cannot speed it up.
30What does a sale cost me in the US?
Etrovvo: 0% — only the plan subscription. Stripe charges its card-processing fee on each sale, in your own Stripe account, and shows it on every payout; that fee is set by Stripe under your agreement with them. When Stripe Tax calculates sales tax on a sale to a state where you are registered, Stripe charges a small per-transaction fee for that as well, in your account.
31Do I have to charge sales tax?
Yes, where you are registered to collect it — at least in your own state. You are the merchant of record, so the registration with the state is yours. List those states in Settings → Tax & compliance; from then on every sale to a listed state gets the exact rate for the buyer’s address (Stripe Tax), shown as a separate line at checkout and recorded in your Stripe account. Filing and paying the tax stay with you — the quarterly report in the dashboard gives you the numbers. Etrovvo does not file for you.
32How do refunds and chargebacks work in the US?
Refunds: open the order in the dashboard and press Refund (full or partial); the money goes back to the buyer’s card from your Stripe balance, and the sales tax on the refunded part is reversed in your Stripe tax records automatically. Chargebacks: the buyer’s bank pulls the amount from your balance right away and you get an email with the deadline; you respond in Wallet → Receiving → Chargebacks with proof of the sale. Cancelling an order from your dashboard never moves money — use Refund for that; the two exceptions that refund from your balance on their own are a buyer cancelling an unshipped order from their account, and a return you refund from the Returns screen.
Products, store and plan
33How do I edit, hide or delete a product? Why isn’t it showing in the store?
In Products, open the product to change price, stock or photos. Set the status to Draft to take it down without deleting, or delete it entirely. If a product isn’t showing, it’s almost always because it’s Draft/Archived or out of stock.
34How do I create a discount coupon?
In Marketing → Discounts, create a percentage, fixed-amount or free-shipping code, with usage limits and scope. If a coupon isn’t applying, check validity, usage limit and the conditions you set.
35Can I sell in dollars or change the store language?
The currency is fixed by the store’s country — a Brazilian store sells in reais, a US store in dollars; you can’t pick a different one. The storefront language can be Portuguese, English or Spanish.
36How do I change plans? I paid but I’m still on free.
In Settings → Plan you change plans: an upgrade charges the difference immediately and unlocks 0% commission right away; a downgrade is scheduled for the end of the period. If you paid and still show as free, wait a few minutes and reload; if it persists, contact support.
37How do I export my data or delete my store?
You can export products and customers as CSV anytime. Deleting the store/account isn’t self-service — contact support. Your data is isolated per store and kept secure.
